My father passed away in May 2015 and I was charged with cleaning out his house. I could not have done this without the help of many family members and friends, and together it took about 3 months to get the majority of “stuff” out.

During the process, I realized just how much disorganization I could take… my father was a classic case of hoarding disorder and maybe the worst I’ll ever see. I am confident that if I was able to form a vision of a beautiful, comfortable, well functioning home in the midst of THAT mess that I will be able to help you accomplish your goals as well!

I started HBG in January 2022 with a mission to help people feel more comfortable, cozy and calm in their space – more HYGGE! The pandemic, police murders, school closures and other miscellaneous stressors highlighted the need to have a home that feels like a respite, a sanctuary in the midst of chaos and stress.

A place to heal, grow and love. Home, to me, should be where you feel the most safe and secure. This has always been my perspective. However, it’s hard to feel that way in the midst of chaos and never ending organizational projects. We all have those things we aim to complete and never seem to get to. Or maybe we are having trouble envisioning the end product or don’t know where to start. That’s where I can help!

Services I provide range from consulting with clients (face-to-face or virtually) so that we can formulate a plan with a step-by-step process you can complete on your own to helping you in a more hands on way to implement sustainable organization solutions – whatever you are needing or are most comfortable with is important to me. Together, we can make your home a more functional and comfortable place to live.
